Green Pledge

Our Green Growth Pledges simple first step  helps to reduce environmental impact and to grow at the same time. A number of different categories can be choosed that suits and builds expertise in each one.

A Green Growth Pledge is a message to customers and the wider business community those planning to become a clean and green company. It will not only reduce costs and increase your resilience but also lead the way for others to follow.

Going green helps the environment to reduce the amount of pollution that enters the soil, water and air. Trying to use alternative energy sources and avoiding the burning of fossil fuels, recycling and reducing waste and driving more efficiently, lower pollutants are released into the environment.

Is it important to be green?

Yes, it is. Going green saves you from toxic products and environmental pollution.

It helps to detoxify which results in more stamina, more energy, which eventually increases your productivity both at work and at home.

Following the green pledge helps to protect nature and the environment by saving energy, water, reducing use of disposable plastics, promoting reusable materials, planting saplings and reducing dependence on fossil fuels by adopting renewables.

Also reducing waste, good use of waste and generating energy from it. Some commit to include:

  • Minimising our energy use
  • Reducing plastic waste
  • Recycling responsibly
  • Contributing positively to the wider community through organisations such as Rural England.
  1. Change all your light bulbs to low-energy LEDs: There are LED equivalents for most light fittings so there’s really no excuse.
  2. Remove individual desk bins: Trying to provide minimal general waste bins and lots of recycling bins,  encourages to get up and recycle!
  3. Investigate local recycling schemes

Your local council may not be able to take every type of plastic but a little research and there are lots of recycling schemes out there. For example:

  • Print cartridges
  • Crisp packets
  • Bread bags
  • Cleaning products
  • Pens
